Job Description

    Enterprise Networking Infra PI (IOS-XE PI) Group designs and develops high-performance system software for various Cisco Platforms which includes Enterprise Switching & Routers, Datacenter Switches, Service Provider Routing Platforms, Wireless and IOT Platforms. This is one of the team where we are leading the Enterprise Industry with several innovations; and we are in an exciting phase in the rapidly evolving market. The opportunities here are boundless, and we are sure you will add a character to the dynamism of this team! Who Youll Work With Our Team develops the Complete Network Operating Software stack right from Core OS, to System Infrastructure to Network Protocols and Application Software and works in close collaboration with Platform development teams to enable the OS on the existing and future platforms.This groups ownership spans Network/System Infrastructure technologies including IP, IPV6, Transport Protocols and Applications. Who You Are
    • Hands on Engineer who can work on development of OS Infrastructure used for Networking Technologies
    • Work with the team to build new, modular features across a wide range of next-gen products.
    • Partner with the test teams to automate & build joint infrastructure that serves both Unit-Test and Feature/Integration test.
    Skills:
    • Good Programming skills in C/C++, and shell scripts.
    • Linux system programming experience (e.g. Memory Management, IPC, Sockets, Shared Memory, Multi-Threaded programming/Process Synchronization)
    • Good debugging skills using tools like GDB is must.
    • Knowledge in Python, or any scripting tool is a big plus.
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills are essential.
    Additional skills preferred:
    • Experience in network technologies (TCP/IP, SDWAN and commonly used networking protocols)
    • Netconf, Yang, Openconfig Data Modelling.
    Experience & Education: BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 5 years of development experience.,
