Job Description

    As Senior Test Engineer, your role will be to help the team to understand the how and what s they should be testing as we move forward in delivering our transformation. You will bring a unique perspective to the team. You will drive the Test strategy, reinforcing quality and testing throughout the SDLC. You will be contributing continuously to evaluate and innovate to improve our testing approach including our test frameworks and tooling. You will develop new testing infrastructure/strategies to fulfil given requirements (functional, performance, accessibility, etc.). Working with L3 Support and the engineers you will help to troubleshoot issues across the stack and identify gaps in our testing that can be filled.You will embed yourself into the team to ensure testing remains a first-class aspect of how we write software. Coaching and mentoring the engineers, designers and product to improve their approach and implementation of tests. Job responsibilities
    • Design and develop automation test scripts for validation of the application
    • Own our testing infrastructure and continuously improve our solution.
    • Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
    • Implement test tools and frameworks that help us release with confidence.
    • Work with teams to understand test automation gaps and implement coverage.
    • Work towards embedding testing within our CI/CD practices.
    • Coordinate testing efforts across teams to ensure delivery of high-quality features
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • 9+ years of relevant experience as a software Developer in Test with hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch
    • 5+ years of experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
    • Deep understanding of BDD / TDD Behavior Driven Development/ Test Driven Development
    • Hands-on experience to automate regression and functional test cases.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle)
    • Good to have experience with API Test Automation and React
    • Experience in collaborating in agile development methodologies and pipeline management.
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Good knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
    • Experience with Cloud Technologies, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
    • Capable of conducting Functional and Regression test review sessions and provide tailored guidance to teams.
    • Experience in assessing and assisting teams with Test frameworks design, documentation, management, and quality.
    • Strong problem solving and good analytical skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
