Job Description

This role requires varieties of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Java, J2EE development experience.
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
ResponsibilitiesThe role will require proficiency in all aspects of software development including:
  • Experience of working on AGILE/SCRUM, pair programming and TDD models of development
  • Involvement in planning, refinement, estimation of stories / JIRAs
  • Ability to write clean maintainable self-documenting code.
  • Design and development responsibilities for the work / module assigned
  • Involvement in design reviews, code reviews, unit test implementation, code fixes, etc.
  • Responsible for end to end delivery of the modules / sub-projects adding to overall business requirements
Technical Skills:
  • Java 8 and up +
  • Understanding of Microservices design and messaging/asynchronous communication
  • Spring Boot and Spring Framework
  • SOLID principles understanding
  • SQL Concepts like Cassandra, oracle etc.
Good to Have skills:
  • Comfort with Multithreading concepts like Java Executor etc.
  • Understanding of Python 3.0 and up
  • Understanding of MQ is a plus
  • Messaging framework
  • Continuous Integration (CI), GIT, Jenkins
  • UNIX scripting concepts
Personal Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in machine learning
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Team player, with ability to take direction in a professional manner
