Job Description

As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.   • Identify, analyze and interpret business requirements
  • Write technical design specifications and present to peers and technology partners
  • Create UI Wireframes, process flow models, architecture diagrams and data model designs
  • Develop React applications and present to technology and business partners
  • Write test code using UI test frameworks utilizing Protractor, JavaScript, and ReactJS
  • Write positive and negative, smoke, regression and end to end test scripts to test product functionality and integration with dependencies
  • Tests APIs, user interfaces (UIs)
  • Apply quality assurance best practices to all work products
  • Promote code through to production
  • Collaborate with team members in information exchanges
  • Contribute to our growing marketplace of UX components and API s
Qualifications:Required
  • 3+ years of proven ReactJS development required
  • Solid grasp of JavaScript, NodeJS, and CSS
  • Strong data modelling with fluent SQL scripting using a range of DBMS
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Working knowledge of build/deployment tools like Jenkins/Jules
  • Familiar with development tools such as Crucible/Jira, Git/Stash, etc.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and independently
  • Possess innovator and thought leader skills
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting business requirements to identify technical solutions
  • Able to conduct interviews with business partners, stakeholders and information owners
  • Excellent listening skills and be able to distill and concisely articulate key messages in verbal and written form
Desired
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field
  • ReactJS certification
  • Cloud certification
  • Working knowledge of Looker and LookML
  • Knowledge of Redux
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot (2+ years)
  • Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes
