Our $9.5B+ annual investment in technology enables us to hire people to create innovative solutions that will not only transform the financial services industry, but also change the world.At Commercial Banking Tehcnology we are looking for a Big Data Lead with skills and experience with largescale Hadoop-based data platforms who will be responsible for design, development and delivery of a next generation enterprise data hub, reporting and analytic applications.Responsibilities: As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics,development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what s being developed. Youll lead/mentor team in terms of providing architecture solutions, best practices, defining standards and innovative solutions. Youll lead dev ops efforts in terms of CICD, Scanning, Code, Performance testing and Test coverage youll Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets youll lead public cloud transformationsComing in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.Qualifications: This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Bachelors degree in a technical or quantitative field with preferred focus on Information Systems with 10 to 12 years of total experience. Minimum 5+ years Development and implementations experience with Big Data solutions especially leveraging cloudera hadoop distribution (Hadoop and Spark Architecture, Performance tuning, Spark SQL, HIVE, SQOOP, KAFKA, Impala, HBASE, Entitlements etc., )Experience in core Java, Python, Spark, Entitlements & SQL is a must Experience in big data cloud implementation (AWS) is a must. Experience in streaming implementation Experience in CICD pipelines Experience in leading a feature team and managing stake holders Experience in implementing complex ETL transformations in Hadoop platform Experience in design patterns Experience performing data analytics on Hadoop-based platforms Experience in implementing distributed and scalable algorithms (Hadoop, Spark) Experience in Kubernetes is a plus Experience in Data science is a plus Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals Experience performing data analytics on Hadoop-based platforms Ability to manage and coach a Big Data Agile team through design, development, testing, implementation,and support Development and implementation experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) leveraging databases, tables/views, stored procedures, agent jobs, etc. Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization and across multiple locations. Financial Services and Commercial banking experience is a plus. Demonstrated independent problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems. Must be able to communicate complex issues in a crisp and concise fashion to multiple levels of management.,
