Job Description

You are responsible for

  • Design, develop, and implement software integrations in on premise/cloud environments according to customer requirements / user feedback
  • Align with other internal groups on integrated, cross-team deployments of products and solutions
  • Implement and maintain automation tools and frameworks (CI / CD pipelines)
  • Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to ensure improvements and timely delivery
  • Support QA team to implement and maintain automated test-suites
  • Set up and conduct system tests for security, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot deployment / production issues and feedback to development team.
  • Develop and maintain design, deployment and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Support service team to troubleshoot customer deployments
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture/services AWS or other IaaS
  • Ensuring high quality of delivered results, including regulatory aspects by fostering automatic and manual testing during development and verification processes.

Today AI and ML are changing the way we do business and helping customers deliver value proposition.You would be part of developing an ecosystem for integration of applications into the clinical & operational workflow.In this team you would be working closely with multiple groups within Philips, external companies and our customers to provide an integrated, holistic offering of healthcare information technology that is able to make a difference to patients and clinicians in the field of artificial intelligence.You will be part of the Engineering team located in Philips India PIC, Bangalore working in close collaboration with team located in Aachen / Cologne (Germany).To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering including aspects such as deployment, automated testing, maintenance / operations of systems based on a micro services architecture.
  • Expert-level knowledge in deployment / configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
  • Expert-level knowledge in modern application architectures based on Docker and Kubernetes on premise and in the cloud.
  • Excellent knowledge of server operations / administrations in mixed Windows and Linux environments, especially related to security and networking.
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies such as Git, Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Artifactory
  • Experience with deployment management and automation tools (Ansible, Terraforms, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Strong DevOps culture, experience in building CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V and virtual GPU technology
  • Experience in server / application monitoring technologies
  • Solid track record to deliver, also when under pressure
  • Proficiency in YAML code development
  • Proficiency in Ansible playbooks development and repositories
  • Hands on experience at least in two scripting languages like Perl/Python/Groovy/Bash
  • Knowledge in clinical information systems domain, product and customer perspectives is a plus
  • Good analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to technical stakeholders
