Job Description

    Hi Candidate,We have job opportunity for Solaris Admin in MumbaiSolaris :-Solaris 10 & 11 Veritas Volume ManagerRoles & responsibilities :-Solaris admin profile who has worked on Zones and LDOMS with Solaris 10,11 Version.ZFS & Veritas are must as we have most of our Solaris systems using Veritas volume manager and root, swap pools with ZFS.Oracle SPARC hardware/platform, OS hardening, Audit and Solaris 11 experience including AI & IPS are added advantage.Quarterly patching, Firmware upgrades, Incident, SR & change handling, capacity reviews, problem management are key areas where services are delivered.Knowledge on Ansible, Shell scripting, Perl would be advantage.Linux :-Strong Linux fundamentalsexpertise on Redhat 5,6,7 , Oracle Redhat Knowledge of any mail application like Postfix.Working knowledge on any hardware like HP and Firmware upgradeWorking Knowledge on any LDAP, Print server CUPSKnowledge on Virtualization. specially OVM Knowledge on Native cluster like gfs2 FS etc.Shell scripting , Disk management using LVM Good knowledge on networking and routingPatch Management using proxy and satellite servers and Tivoli TEM tool.Hands-on knowledge on System Administration, User management and Sudo.NFS/SMB configuration and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge in Linux AD integration. VAS servicesNew server build and Hardening, iptables , selinux should be able to do advance level of troubleshooting on Linux OS and applicationsResponsible for guiding L1 & L2 resources technicallyResponsible for the uptime of the various serversApply patches to the OS / applications
