  • Project Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
  • Management Level :9

  • Must Have Skills :Solaris System Administration
  • Good To Have Skills :Linux Operations
      • Key Responsibilities : Provide 24 by 7 system administration support to Linux and Solaris servers Manages the day to day operations of the Unix and Linux environment by monitoring system performance configuration maintenance and issues Focus on improving the stability and performance of the system Maintain and improve the security posture of the systems Perform patching and upgrading of Solaris OS Should have the knowledge to migrate Unix / Linux servers to cloud
      • Technical Experience : Experience with SUN Microsystems servers and hardware Experience with Solaris Administration and Configuration Zones ZFS Filesystems SUN Microsystems Environments Solaris 10 NIS LDAP Jumpstart is also required Solaris and Veritas experience
