Job Description

    Sourcing Specialist Consumer ElectronicsPlace of work: Bommasandra, BangaloreReporting to: Vice President- GlobalLevel: Manager/Sr. ManagerROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
    1. To be a part of a dynamic Supply Chain Management team; to lead the consumer electronics procurement function, engage in RFQ process with costing/NPI team
    2. Cost competitive sourcing of components, lead time, inventory management, OTD
    1. Reviewing purchase orders to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to company policies
    2. Working with suppliers to develop new products or improve existing products to meet customer needs
    3. Negotiating prices with suppliers and ensuring that they meet company standards for cost effectiveness
    4. Managing the purchasing cycle, including creating purchase orders and negotiating contracts with suppliers
    5. Working with internal departments to obtain necessary information about products, suppliers, or markets for analysis
    6. Providing technical knowledge about materials, products, manufacturing processes, and other industry-specific knowledge for use in negotiations with suppliers
    7. Reviewing bids from potential suppliers and selecting a supplier based on criteria such as price, quality and reliability of service
    8. Coordinating with finance staff to ensure that invoices are paid promptly
    9. Reviewing supplier performance to ensure that quality standards are being met and problems are addressed quickly
