Join us today and release yours.About this roleThe SFDC Technical Architect plays a critical role within Vlocity Services, serving as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert.The ideal candidate will become a highly certified and recognized Vlocity expert on the Salesforce platform. S/he will serve as a trusted advisor, drive conversations with Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process and Application Governance. S/he will advise and mentor diverse teams, which include customer and partner resources in technical and functional delivery aspects at a program level, using influence and adaptive communication strategies in scenarios where the Senior Architect does not have direct authority over all resources. This individual will also contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the Force.com Platform. S/he will provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Force.com Platform education. They will drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce.com best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce.com into the customer s infrastructure. They will also troubleshoot key customer implementation issues, demonstrate the ability to drive to successful resolution and lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements from a senior level. They must be able to identify and pro-actively manage risk areas and commitment to seeing an issue through completion.Youll have the following responsibilitiesUnderstanding the business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements.Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client s requirements.Devising solution that leverages features like ESM, Omniscript, VIP, Data Raptor etcDefining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementationWriting and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developersReviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it.Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projectsResolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.Youll have the following skills & experienceProven experience in overseeing the technical direction, development, and implementation of SFDC software solutions Process modelling tools and best practices and Data modelling In-depth knowledge of key processes in Communication industry-specific solutions Process Modelling tools and best practices Familiarity with TMForum Open APIsA proven professional with multiple full lifecycle SFDC implementations and at least 5+ years of experience working with SFDC Knowledge of Vlocity OmniScript, Vlocity Data Raptors, Vlocity cards, Vlocity integration procedures Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, LWC and other technologies to build customized SolutionsStrong experience on CPQ, EPC, and Vlocity OMApex and Visualforce Development KnowledgeStrong troubleshooting skills in different disparate technologies and environmentsEnthusiastic about different areas of work and exploring new technologies.Clarity of thought and strong communication skills to effectively pitch solutions.Ability to explore and grasp new technologies.Mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies.Empowering the team members to be solution providers and enable a flat environment where everyone s point of view is considered, and feedback is encouraged.Strong knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM ProcessesCertificationsSalesforce Technical ArchitectSalesforce System ArchitectSalesforce Application ArchitectData Architecture and Management Designer Development Lifecycle and Deployment DesignerIntegration ArchitectureOmniStudio Developer Industries CPQ Developer Benefits25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)10% on target bonusPension schemeShares PlanFlexible benefits: cycle to work, childcare vouchers, healthcare, etc.Discounted BT productsAbout BTBT has a key role in British society, fostering change and leading technology innovation.
