Job Description

    Job summaryRing s Community Support Ops Excellence Team is seeking a Snr Business Analyst to support insight generation, analytical solution building and pipeline establishment. This is an opportunity to help shape the business direction and analytical model of a rapidly growing organization with a growing global impact. Key job responsibilities1. Understand backend data structures, pipelines and warehouse architecture.2. Own entire data ecosystem and be the SME for all the different datasets, existing dashboards and cross functional solutions/applications.3. Work on statistical modelling techniques for various analysis4. Metric generation/standardization and logic building5. Cross functional collaboration with product, QA, ACES and program teams on various pain points and solve using data based insights.6. Collaborate internally and work on ML related problems as well. Hence knowledge of common ML techniques would be handy.7. Build and deploy solutions on AWS8. Conduct Research based experiments and publish papers.9. Work on automation solutions using any scripting language.10. Generate insights for various complex business problems using customized scalable solutions.A day in the lifeAs a Sr Business Analyst, you will interact with Ring Devices platforms and datasets, understand the process flow and be pivotal to create the data ingestion pipelines, translate the data into insights and curate user stories. You will be interacting with various teams who deal with different ecosystems of the Ring Devices, and bring together all the data together to create lifecycle, experience and journey metrics of our customers and CS associates. The problem statements have lot of opportunities for experimentation and business value addition. About the teamRings mission is to help make neighborhoods safer.     • Bachelor degree of in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economic or other discipline
    • 6+ year experience in Business Analyst or relevant.
    • Strong SQL capability, 5+ year working experience on SQL development and optimization.
    • Knowledge of AWS solutions and end to end pipeline building (datanet, cradle, sagemaker, etc)
    • Knowledge on Python or R in data science field.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
    • Strong ability to dealing with ambiguities.
    • Master Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economic or other discipline
    • Experience on system solution development and ability on programming and developing IT solutions.
    • Knowledge on ML/AI
