Amazon Advertising PXT (People eXperience and Technology) team is looking for a people leader to support business teams, that support advertisers around the globe. In this role, the incumbent will wear multiple hats to partner with technology, business and operations teams. The role has an exciting charter to also build HR programs and solutions that span across multiple business units in India involving high level of complexity and scale. The role will involve work in areas of increasing workforce capability, providing change leadership, talent management, succession planning and supporting day-to-day operations as well as on-going process improvement.Key job responsibilities Coach senior leaders and be a trusted advisor for them on strategic talent challenges. Review and analyze talent metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development. Influence global HR and business leaders to drive India specific needs and sensitize them to India specific nuances Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources related matters, policies and procedures Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential Implement/administer/interpret corporate policies/programs/procedures Plan, manage and provide continuous improvement to all aspects of the client organization and leadership review process and the strategic objectives therein. This includes annual, mid-year and quarterly processes which focus on performance management and talent development. Define HR goals that are based on business drivers and ensuring that the team is always looking for underlying people issues to help solve business challenges, Passion to make a difference on the job Display high levels of optimism, grit and determination to excel Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative Demonstrates ability to coach managers and build credibility to Earn Trust Success in creating, driving and program managing effective development, employee engagement, retention and reward programs Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills 5+ years of experience in the areas of HRBP/Organizational Development/Talent Management/Learning and Development Proven ability to successfully work as a team member and to build and maintain a positive work environment across the network Experience working in an fast paced ambiguous environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities is a plus Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document writing Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of employment laws Proven ability to successfully work as a team member and to build and maintain a positive work environment across the network Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities Champion employee engagement, set up employee engagement principles and practices to ensure positive employee engagement and communications are in place Program manage initiatives to drive Amazon s leadership principles, business vision and charter across a variety of customers
