Job Description

We seek a seasoned marketing leader who can help us shape and develop a new video product for Amazon in India i.e. miniTV, a new free ad-supported video streaming service on the Amazon.in shopping app. This is an exciting opportunity for a rock-star marketing leader who would like to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about digital marketing and new customer experiences. We are looking for a smart, high performing results-oriented Sr Content Growth Mktg Manager to be a part of the ramp-up. The successful candidate should be able to execute flawlessly while demonstrating ability to think strategically as well. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best marketers at Amazon and one of the best teams at Amazon (rated very highly in a company-wide yearly assessment), be part of a new initiative from scratch which is going to become a huge area of growth for Amazons Advertising business and pioneer the usage of new technology at Amazon scale.Key job responsibilities Lead and execute the strategy of merchandizing across owned (Amazon inventory and miniTV store) channels end-to-end: managing creative processes, targeting and segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization. Develop Entertainment use-cases specific customer insights and follow segment trends closely to anticipate challenges and opportunities Develop, implement and evolve a cutting-edge content marketing strategy to showcase the depth of content catalogue. Build a creative approach to content marketing assets with new ideas that push boundaries. Identify opportunities and responding accordingly, engaging cross functional teams (product, tech, BI) where necessary Develop marketing metrics, goals, and KPIs to measure and track business results. Set up regular touchpoints with key stakeholders to review funnel health, assess pipeline health, and present learnings and opportunities to leadership.,
    • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
    • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
    • 5+ years of marketing experience
    • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
    7+ years of product / brand / growth marketing space Proven track record of hitting aggressive growth targets leveraging a diverse set of channels and tactics Excellent communicator and cross-functional team player. Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams Analytical and Creative thinker: able to deliver deep insights that lead to novel approaches High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and deliver results. Experience with developing, executing, and analyzing marketing experiments and tests. MBA/Masters degree Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up feature and customer segment recommendations Capability to meet our technical requirements, which include HTML, XML and Excel, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly Experience leading teams Proficiency in Amazon merchandizing tools - content symphony, Sonata and weblab
