  • Perform static and dynamic analysis of product binaries / malware samples in supporting of ongoing investigations including disassemblers, debuggers, virtual machines, hex editors, and un-packers
  • Perform research in the area of software vulnerabilities , and exploitation tactics, and recommend preventative or defensive actions.
  • Conduct reverse engineering as necessary
  • Produce deliverables that equip audiences with actionable assessments to inform tactical and strategic decisions
  • Support the creation and presentation of tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, the methodologies they use and the motivations behind their activity
Technical Skillset
  • Good understanding of modern and traditional components, like: Network detection, Reputation and prevalence, Machine Learning, Cloud and Crowd detections, Behavioral analysis, Anti-virus engines and static scanners
  • Strong reverse engineering skills, ideally with 3-5 years of relevant experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering in x86/x64
  • Experience with debuggers such as windbg, gdb, ollydbg
  • Experience with disassemblers such as IDA Pro
  • Good understanding of Windows Operating System internals, TCP/IP, x86 assembly
  • Good understanding of vulnerabilities and exploits

  • Analyse and produce protection for new and emerging threats
  • Maintain a deep understanding and knowledge of the evolving threat landscape
  • Research, develop and improve methods for threat detection, protection and correction
  • Help to validate product tests
  • Produce actionable, comprehensive reports
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of process automation, analysis platforms and tools
