  • You will be responsible to lead and participate in innovation, design and development of automated optimization of SQL and Big Data workloads running on-premise as well as in the cloud.
  • You will be able to applying your deep understanding of query engine internals in the context of data, SQL, cluster, job-level optimization insights in modern query frameworks such as Spark, Hive, Presto as well as Cloud technologies such as Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake.
  • The position is at Unravel s India Development centre (located in Bangalore and Pune).
About You
  • Expertise in Java or C/C++ with strong basics in Computer science (Command on Relational Databases and Distributed systems). Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering (CS). Master and/or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering is a plus.
  • Prior experience working on database products/services as part of query optimizer or database manageability teams.
  • A thorough knowledge of AWS, Azure and Cloud Architecture.
  • Strong in analytical, design and problem solving skills, with a strong desire to create new things, dive in wherever there s a need, and learn new things.
