Key Responsibilities:Lead hazard identification & risk assessment for all processes, facilities and operationswithin the Supply Chain.Establish a robust mechanism of walk through inspections / audits etc. of all facilities andoperations within the purview of Supply Chain for proactive identification & redressal ofEHS hazards / risks.Periodically assess hygiene and health of EHS system (w.r.t. conformances, statutory /regulatory compliances and adherence to established processes / SOPs etc.).Identify, plan, propose, budget and thereafter implement all EHS infrastructureupgradation plans, as specifically approved (within planned timelines / costs etc.).Identify EHS training needs within the Supply Chain (along with other SCLTs), developprograms and execute training plans as specifically approved.Lead all employee communication, employee involvement and employee engagementschemes to enhance the vibrancy of an EHS culture within the Function.Establish a strong and effective EHS Management framework and system throughIdentification for need of and leading the development of SOPs, Work Instructions, andProcess Manuals etc.Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments tosupport Health, Safety and Environmental management.Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations to support commercialbusinessDrives reporting and analytics to provide assistance and advice on EHS issues to makerecommendations to businessManage the site EHS budgets at siteComply with all EHS procedures and policiesKnowledge and Competencies required for the role:Exposure / knowledge of Environment / Health / Safety Management Systems andrelated Standards (ISO 14001 / OHSAS / RoSPA / British Safety Standards etc.)Must be results oriented, assertive and self motivated, possess strong organizationalskills to be able to achieve goals consistently.Must possess professional selling and presentation skills to be able to influence multipleMust possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicateeffectively with customers, customer service and different levels of internal and externalcustomers.Must have decision-making ability to perceive and evaluate alternatives, analyze impactof decisions before executing them, and implement decisions with appropriate evidenceand rationaleRequired Skill SetExcellent understanding of chemical & transportation safety and related standards /licensing requirements / related Acts & RulesAbility to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potentialresistanceMaintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as ourcustomers and regulatory agenciesPerform other work related tasks as required as assignedExercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods,techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Minimum Requirements on Experience and Education Qualifications:Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline, Diploma in Industrial Safety / DISH certified /alternatePreference over degree in safety engineering, environmental or industrial hygiene or acomparable field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.Must have experience in chemical / process industriesMust have thorough knowledge of India EHS legislation.At least 10 12 years of relevant experience in the fieldAble to work effectively in matrix organizationApply Now,
