*Summary of Role for RF Test Engineer:A full time millimeter Wave Electrical Engineer will interface directly with Globalfoundries engineers in Burlington Vermont to create custom millimeter wave (mmWave) test boards. This engineer will create Allegro Board schematics, layouts, placements and run ADS RF simulations on RF lines. They will be designing test cards for a mmWave test system. The test cards will have a mix of digital analog, RF and DC circuitry. The engineer will work with designers in Burlington to develop a test solutions which will be used in Globalfoundries internally designed semiconductor test systems. The engineer will work with a highly skilled team of BS, MS and PHd EE, CS and ME engineers inventing and continuously improving our systems for testing mmWave semiconductors.Essential Responsibilities: Communicate with our Customer s engineering staff on the product requirements for testing their mmWave components. Understand the basic design of mmWave circuits and the electrical equipment required to measure those circuits. Design test circuit boards using Cadence Allegro, which will interface between the device under test and the test equipment. Experience using Allegro power integrity and signal integrity tools to debug layouts. Generate data from the tester to prove the reliability and repeatability of the invented test hardware and software. Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs, *Required Qualifications: Education BS or MS in Electrical Engineering 5 Years Experience Designing RF Boards using ADS, or Cadence Allegro Knowledge of C++ Programming in a Linux environment Language Fluency English Physical Capacity Demands ability to use a computer Available for work on site, in Bangalore IndiaPreferred Qualifications: Knowledge of HFSS 3d simulation tools or equivalent RF circuit simulation tools MS EE in RF engineering Experience programming in a Linux environment Experience designing RF circuits Hands on experience with RF matching and RF test equipment Knowledge of R or equivalent data analysis software
