This is a critical hire for leading planning, influencing and executing marketing campaigns for key affordability and cost of ownership reduction programs launched in the category. The leader will interface with all customer facing communication across channels, including on-site communication, ATL Communication, PR, and digital traffic channels for the programs under the Strategic Projects charter.Amazon is seeking an innovative, creative, data backed, experienced, and results-oriented marketing professional to lead and grow the category s marketing organization and impact. We need someone who has a passion for technology, e-commerce, and ability to innovate marketing strategies for the digital and data led era.He/she will have experience in brand building, New product development, managing high performance teams and an understanding of consumers triggers and barriers to purchase. As a Marketing leader, you will lead a small team to drive key elements of our marketing and partner with various central teams to create and drive the marketing strategy and plans for key projects, which will aid customers in their shopping journey and ownership for key device categories. This would include working with product managers, program managers to identify the right need states, create the needed offerings and then marketing it effectively and efficiently to the target customers. The role will also create marketing collaterals including Pitch decks for Brands and Vendors to aid adoption, and maximize customer impact of launched features.Roles & Responsibilities Identify customer triggers and barriers by using surveys, in-depth research and customer immersions Translate customer needs into product and program ideas, working closely with product and program teams Conceptualize, design and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for products and programs upon launch Develop, test, and execute aggressive multi-channel marketing plans to drive customer awareness, consideration and adoption Audit frequently - Conduct in-depth analyses to determine program effectiveness and to continuously improving programs and site initiatives Understand key pain points from customers and brands/vendors alike to influence overall program design, and enhance adoption Own projects with considerable scope and long-term impact on the growth trajectory for the categories Understand and use merchandising and customer-facing metrics to guide decision making Own charters of research for the category and represent the voice of the customer in internal meetings with Product and Program teams Meet business goals while ensuring a top-notch customer experience, Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs 5+ years of marketing experience1. The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically for the long term, be adept and launching key programs while creating scalable playbooks for future scale up as well.2. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize well, multi-task efficiently, partner across a wide number of teams and execute flawlessly.3. He or she will have a proven track record of delivering results, ideally in e-commerce or FMCG/FMCD categories in Brand Management or New Product Development roles.4. Keys to success will be the ability to utilize customer insight and data to develop marketing programs, design sophisticated tests and quickly double down on programs that show success.5. This role will also lead a team of 1-2 executives, and the ideal candidate should have experience in managing and grooming talent. 5-8 years of overall work experience with at least 2+ year experience in brand marketing, New Product Development (NPD) or Product Marketing Proven track record of customer obsession & using customer insights to drive marketing strategies and campaigns Proven track record of creating 360 degree campaign execution which is able to change customer behaviour over a period of time Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and ability to execute with attention to detail Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment. MBA required. Masters in Marketing preferred. Ability to lead teams and manage high performance, high speed teams will be preferred
