Job Description

    • Provide technical leadership to ensure the team adheres to the prescribed design, quality and Videojet practices to maintain the integrity of application architecture and technology.
    • Deliver detailed effort estimates for software design implementation.
    • Design and develop Printer Software and/or its components using C++, Qt/QML on Windows Embedded Compact or Linux.
    • Champion Scrum development methodology.
    • Mentor, train and lead team members in line with project objectives and priorities
    • Liaise with global R&D staff on need basis.
    • Work with External Vendors
    While we understand that the above responsibilities can be managed with various skills, we believe the below skills will come in handy to excel in the role.
    • A 4-year degree (Computer Science or equivalent Engineering)
    • A minimum of 9+ years of experience. Team lead experience will be a plus.
    • Experience working with Agile teams.
    • Hands-on knowledge of Embedded C++ programming. Qt/QML will be a plus.
    • Hands-on knowledge on Embedded Linux/Windows CE.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience working with global teams.
    • Experience with CI/CD.
