Job Description

    Job descriptionThe Support Engineer for Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) Platform provides overall Support for Mavenlink PPM application as per Functional Technical needs. This role involves being an expert as a techno-functional area for Mavenlink PPM platform used in Harman on a SaaS offering. This role requires good understanding of process workflows, data analysis and understanding the mapping of Business Process and Data together on Mavenlink SaaS based PPM platform for multiple business units inside Harman Automotive. The role is responsible to perform one time or incremental data imports using available utilities for Mavenlink PPM. Support Engineer will be also responsible to understand Reporting needs by business and ensure report creation/provision/modification etc. as per business requirement in a timely manner.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneJob Responsibilities:
    • Understanding end-end Business Process in Mavenlink and obtain the system alignment which is implemented to handle it.
    • Supporting Mavenlink PPM platform in terms of integrations, data imports, reporting user management.
    • Understand all the design documents and update as per design changes.
    • Support the implementation team for Mavenlink Administration and Governance during future phases.
    • Improve infrastructure design and ensure architecture is secured for programs.
    • Participate and plan the PPM platform roadmap in line with future growth/capacity.
    • Maintains peer relationships across IT areas (Business, Operations) to support effective implementations.
    • Document system architecture of solutions and complete PPM application landscapes.
    • Document and follow up changes with associated test and functional validation.
    • Deploy PPM (Technology + Processes) solutions through Dev, Sandbox, and Production as needed.
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Any Bachelor s Degree or Master Degree or equivalent.
    • Up to 5 years of overall experience with 1+ years in supporting any PPM system will be ideal.
    • Very strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel with pivots, macros, filters and formulas.
    • Advanced Excel with the following VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Advanced conditional formatting, Pivot tables and reporting, Macros and VBA, Data conversion using different methods etc.
    • Ability to understand different excel formats and create compatible templates for application.
    • Experience in converting, handling and importing large excel and/or csv data into Web Based systems.
    • Willingness and ability to manage Mavenlink PPM Platform. Need to be a quick learner.
    • Supporting users on reports creation and modification. Understanding the business perspective.
    • User import/creation, permission provision, access group management and other standard repeatable activities.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, including the good ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
    • A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.

    • Curious and open minded while developing and establishing solution.
    • Thorough and diligent working with external support organizations on problem resolutions
    • Agile and flexible in adopting and adapting new technologies

    • Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test.
    • Willingness to work in a flexible model to cover different time zones.
    • Willingness to participate in planned deliverables on certain weekends.
