Job Description

    Job DescriptionJob Objective: 1. At the heart of creating successful new systems, system architects/engineers are responsible for the system concept, architecture, and design. 2. Analyze and manage complexity and risk, while setup a process to measure whether the deployed system actually works as intended. 3. They are responsible for a myriad of other facets of system creation with relevant use of tools, techniques, methods, knowledge, standards, principles, and concepts. The launch of successful systems can invariably be traced to innovative and effective systems engineering.Strategic Topics: 1. Create and harmonize systems roadmap 2. Elaborate a future-proof, profitable and feasible product portfolio together with product management 3. Orchestrate the definition of a suitable development approach and variant framework 4. Evaluate innovative technologies for usage in systems and products 5. Evaluate influences of future trends on systems roadmap 6. Identify and evaluate continuously systems risks & opportunities, define and monitor measuresOperational Topics: 1. Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives 2. Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines and investment advocacy 3. Actively participate in the Continuous Exploration process as part of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, especially with enabler Epics 4. Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context 5. Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements 6. Establish critical NFRs for the solution and participate in the definition of others 7. Operate within an economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions 8. Work with portfolio stakeholders, notably the Enterprise Architect, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enabler epics 9. Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt(I&A) events 10. Define, explore, and support the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them 11. Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities 12. Work with Product and Solution Management to determine the capacity allocation for enablement work 13. Support technology/engineering aspects of program and solution Kanban 14. Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility,
