As the industrys only end-to-end, cloud-native network software provider, Mavenir is transforming the way the world connects, accelerating software network transformation for 250 Communications Service Providers in over 120 countries, which serve more than 50% of the world s subscribers.Role SummaryRole SummaryDefine Architecture for Distributed Units of 4G/5G eNB for various features and owns the capacity and stability aspects of the eNB (vRAN solution)Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and document the System Architecture for the nodes (CU or DU) for each feature.Works with the development team to ensure that the implementation conforms to the FRS requirements with future proofing for Architecture aspects.Owns the Capacity and Dimension related aspects for the node.Acts as a bridge between SE/PLM and R&D teams in translating the Customer requirements to the implementation.Front ends any field issue debugging especially when it cuts across various components in a Node.Be hands on to generate and validate the capacity aspects and or for debugging the logs and to fix critical issues when neededJob RequirementsJob RequirementsBachelor or Masters degree in Engineering with at least 10 yrs of experience in wireless domain in L1 or L2 or Platform areas including Containerization.Minimum of 2 yrs of experience on Architecture with focus on one or more L1/2 areas, preferably for 2G/3G or LTE or 5G domainsWorking experience in Multi-core embedded systems is a must.Understanding and experience in the Synchronization protocols such as PTP/SyncE will be a Plus.Experience with NBIoT/CBRS is a plus.Good understanding of OS concepts is a mustKnowledge on Containers and Virtualization aspects is a plus.Excellent analytical skills is a must.Shall be a good team player and a go-getterVery good communication and presentation skills are a mustAbility to work with multiple stake holders including Product Managers, system Engineers and DevelopersExperience in technical Co-ordiation skills across teams including multi-site teams is preferred.AccessibilityMavenir is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
