You launch it, own it, support it and make it incrementally better for the benefit of customers.-You enjoy working in a flexible, fast-paced, collaborative team environment.Key job responsibilitiesThe Amazon OpenSearch Service team is searching for a System Development Engineer to develop efficient, scalable frameworks and automation tools for solving complex problems in space of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Security Deployments, Integration Test Framework, Containerization etc. Were looking for a System Development Engineer whos self-driven, able to deal with ambiguity, passionate about giving customers the best possible experience and comes with strong systems engineering fundamentals., * Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java* Bachelors degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of experience in a Software Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering capacity.* Demonstrated UNIX (preferably Linux) systems engineering skills. * Experience using Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, RDS, ACM, etc.)* Experience with Openssl/AuthN/AuthZ* 1+ years of hands on work experience in Software Engineering, Dev Opps, and/or Systems Development* Record of mentoring other engineers to maintain architectural vision and software quality.* Meets/exceeds Amazon s leadership principles requirements for this role* Meets/exceeds Amazon s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
