System Engineer

Job Description

As a System Engineer, you will demonstrate that a System Engineering solution fulfills its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated). You will interface with System, project, and Quality teams to meet QCD commitments as per the project needs.Development (specification, design & designer tests) of railways Diagnostics and Maintenance platform solution. You will lead the design of complex new/modified systems in response to market opportunities and contract related requirements per company standards and customer specifications Development of System architecture and design and deployment on virtual platforms and cloud environments Our programs employ a full life cycle software development process that is scaled to the size of the project. The candidate shall drive system engineering and capture requirements, RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will be part of Product development life cycle from concept to delivery, close interactions with Software Engineer, Software Developer and Verification & Validation team.
• Should have hands-on experience on using SysML Model to derive and develop system architecture.
• Performance and Capacity Evaluation of a Systems and subsystems.
• Produce a requirements matrix in spreadsheet form, listing: The individual requirements from the user needs (tender/contract). The nominated owner for each requirement / standard.
• Leads mentoring programs and develops and delivers training to engineering teams.
• Leads technical discussions directly with customer and represents/protects the company interests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement (RoE: Return of Experience, process )EDUCATION: B.Tech./ B.E./M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, EE, EEE,BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

• Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of System design and applications, and model-based developments, He should be agile and adaptive to Project dynamics

• Defines specifications for new or modified systems in area of specialization to meet contract requirements. Designs software systems, software tools, data acquisition systems, test systems, and test fixtures.
• Works closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Inter Design Center Systems Teams to understand and generate Systems Operational Concepts, Systems Requirements, and Systems Architecture documents for new product design and existing product enhancement.
• Perform System Engineering specific tasks for Remote software data upload on to systems.
• Perform and define Roles and Profiles for a system and Profile management
• Works closely with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Inter Design Center Systems Teams to understand and generate Systems Operational Concepts, Systems Requirements, and Systems Architecture documents for new product design and existing product enhancement.
• Development methodology: V-model, Agile
• Exposure/ Knowledge Of Standards: CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178B
• Strong Problem-solving aptitudeSOFTWARE SKILLS: 8-10 years of experience in system design, requirements management and technical solutioning for RPF/RFI/RFQ.

• Strong knowledge Software architecture and refactoring.
• Experience in any configuration management tool like Gitlab, ClearCase etc.
• Knowledge in Railway Signaling Domain is an added advantage
• The ideal applicant will able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process spread across different geographical locations.
• Significant experience in delivery of System Architecture, design, analysis, development, testing and delivery. IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)LANGUAGE & SKILLS: Proficient in English language Good written and Verbal communication skills as individuals.
