Job Description

We re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.We re looking for an Engineer who ll be responsible for developing and testing embedded software for various IoT- based Lighting Systems & Solutions.You ll be part of the Signify Wireless Infrastructure team in Bangalore and its responsibilities are as specified below, so Embedded Linux, C, and ZigBee must be in your DNA.What you ll do

  • Act as DfSS ambassador to drive DfSS way of working and development quality process
  • Define and drive execution of the quality management processes within development projects
  • Ensure that the consumer needs with respect to system / product characteristics are defined and implemented.
  • Ensure that consistent field and industrial quality targets are defined. Drive the prediction of these expected field quality performances in a structured manner.
  • Include in the specification process the adherence of mandatory internal and external standards / legal requirements (Safety, Sustainability, Performance), which is input for the approbation & certification process.
  • Ensure that CTQ s are measurable and have defined warning levels and specification limits. Stimulate and check for each of these CTQ s the proper transfer functions with known predictors. Ensure (with Supplier Quality and/or Industrial Quality) that CTQ s are measured during development, in pilot runs and in production
What you ll need
  • 8 years of experience as Project Quality working in a Product Development Lifecycle
  • Knowledge on APQP/PPAP process to ensure that definitions and deliverables are available on time
  • Experience in secure product quality based on component/supplier CTQs
  • Experience in FMEA as a structured methods & tools for risk management
  • Experience in driving the translation of requirements into Critical To Quality (CTQ) parameters at system, product and component level
  • Check for use of Robust Design, through numerical simulation using transfer functions and experiments
  • Knowledge on Quality Test Plan for product verification and validation, together with all relevant experts
  • Knowledge on System / Software Test Plan (both for embedded and application software)
  • Experience in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and identifying preventing solutions
  • Experience in approach to Build-in Quality levels and steers and advises management, if required
  • Experience in reviews of project documents (e.g. CRS / SRS / FRS / Test Plans) is executed and verify compliance
  • Working experience using development and quality tools such as, JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube, Whitesoruce, Jenkins
  • Experience woking in Scrum team setup and SAFE agile practices
