Job ID: JR0157968Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireSystem Validation ExpertJob DescriptionJoin Intel during an unprecedented time of growth and technology development and enable Intels datacentric vision in building and scaling Xeon servers and Custom ASICs Our mission is Leading through quality execution innovation and continuous improvement to drive growth in data centre and transformative markets We are looking for an experienced validation engineer lead expert to lead the pre postsilicon validation and platform validation for our product lines The selected candidate will own multiple complex blocks of the products and deliver on all pre post silicon validation phases of the product by owning test plans test content development execution coverage and debug This role needs crosssite collaboration with Design architecture presilicon FW SW BIOS Emulation tools teams and other prepostsilicon partners to deliver on technical features leverage the experience expertise and efficiently debug HWSWFW issues As a validation expert the selected candidate will own validation methodologies to optimize the pre post silicon validation of the ASIC product lines The candidate expected to use and apply emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure functionality performance to spec The candidate is expected to lead the powerons volume validation of product IPs areas debug platform issues influence architecture specification development from validation customer use case standpoint and provide mentoring to the team members The system validation scope may include validation of Networking IPs targeting storage cloud edge markets Ethernet NICs Virtualization Power Management Design for Debug packet processing memory accesses Clocking Reset Interrupts error handling and SecurityQualificationsQualifications Bachelors or masters degree in electrical computer engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Validation Expertise in one or more areas ClientServer computing Chipset Graphics Data Security Compression Ethernet controllers Emulation based debug and coverage methodologies PostSi and platform based debugs Test content development using languages IACore Assembly C C programming Python Strong architecture understanding of IntelARM chipsets andor CPUs SOCs Handson debug on Intel Products platforms and experience in driving task forces for issue resolution Expertise with debug tools like Logic analyzers oscilloscopes protocol analysers intarget probes ITP and Lauterbach LTB Good scripting skills Additional skills In addition the ideal candidate is expected to have Skills ability to be a selfstarter ramp quickly on new technologies and collaborate closely with stake holders to drive quality and efficiency Excellent problemsolving and interpersonal skills Good communication skills verbal and written Strong inclination to innovation to drive efficiency Any prior knowledge in virtualized Radio access network DMA PCIE would be an added advantageInside this Business GroupThe Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) was formed from the acquisition of Altera.
