Systems/Software Engr VIThis role has been designated as Edge, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.Job Family DefinitionDesigns, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.Management Level DefinitionApplies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.ResponsibilitiesLeads multiple project teams of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.Education and Experience RequiredBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically, 8-14 year experience.Knowledge and SkillsExtensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.SFDC System Developer: 8 to 14 years IT industry total experience, specifically in Salesforce.com development (coding) and implementation. Any prior experience with other technologies like Java would be a plus.Looking for a min 3-5yrs experience in SFDC.Candidate should have Mandatory (min 3 years) strong customization and configuration experience in the following areas:Experience in developing custom Lightning components in LWC. LWC is highly preferred. If not, then working exposure to Aura components is acceptable.Apex, APIs, TriggersAsynchronous processes, Scheduled and Batch ApexIntegrating Salesforce with external systems (REST) as well as communication across salesforce orgsImplementation knowledge of workflow rules, validation rule, approval process etc.Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and SOSLHTML, CSS, JavaScript and ability to develop dynamic UI pages using web layouts, design system components etc.Data loaderKnowledge of admin concepts like Permissions sets, custom meta data, custom settings etc.Service Cloud implementationKnowledge of version control system like GitKeep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for improvementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; technical curiosityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience collaborating with distributed global team will be added advantage.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levelsShould have worked in Agile setup. Exposure to SAFe framework is desirable.Nice to HaveWorking experience in community cloud is a plusKnowledge of Continuous Delivery and Integration CD/CI, test automation frameworks would be an added advantage.
