Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is capturing the trades received from Client into the accounting system. The job involves repairing of trades if required using various static data updates. The process will involve using the market sources as IDC and Bloomberg.The person will be responsible for the business deliverables. The role involves close coordination and working with onshore partners primarily being the Client service team and the NAV Val team. Key Responsibilities would include:

  • Understand the Trade Capture process in depth and work towards becoming a subject matter expert.
  • Foster information sharing so that continuity of data exists within the site and across the business
  • Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality.
  • Regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented.
  • Identify business knowledge gaps and escalate to the manager wherever gaps identified.
  • Foster and champion High Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree with accounting courses or equivalent work experience. Minimum of +3 years of experience in a fund accounting or custody/fund accounting environment. Knowledge of financial products traded in the market.Knowledge of fund accounting principles preferred PC skills (Excel). Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills. Strong communication and organization skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure in a deadline oriented environment. Ability to analyze processes and identify improvements. Ability to take ownership of issues and escalate where relevant.,
