Job Description

  • Knowledge of HTML, VB Script, UNIX, SQLs, JavaScript languages and web- based tools and utilities.
  • Experience working on testing tools like Mercury Quality Center and knowledge of other testing methodology.
  • Conducts basic to moderately complex problem analysis and works with technical writers to edit technical information.
  • May assist in the design and preparation of all levels of logic flow charts, preparation of test data, testing and debugging programs, preparation of documentation of all procedures used throughout the system.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Receives direct but not constant supervision.
  • Provides technical support and maintenance for computer applications and programs.
  • Under supervision, uses diagnostic tools and/ or vendor specifications to troubleshoot routine computer application problems to maintain or restore service or data to programs, resolves basic issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements.
  • Updates required logs and reports.
  • Performs environment maintenance, Production Game Plan/ Installs, and debugging analyzing applications/ programs.
  • Write complex SQL queries or scripts to extract data and/ or validate data loads. Updates related documentation and procedures.
  • Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas.
  • Works closely with Business and Technology partners contributing as SME.
  • Experience leading application teams, High confidence, Decision maker and ability to face senior business and tech partners.
