Company based in New York City with offices in Bangalore, India & Dsseldorf, Germany.Work Location: Bannerghatta Road, BangalorePosition: Commerce Technical ArchitectRESPONSIBILITIES
• The Technical Architect is responsible for providing all technical consulting aspects of business applications and add-in solutions and apps regarding implementation, development, upgrade and support to our existing customers.
• You will provide expertise in Dynamics 365 configuration, installation, customization, ISV integrations, coding, testing, and support for existing and new features.
• You will work closely with the Delivery and Support team and client staff to drive development efforts for enhancements and maintenance of new solutions that solve business challenges facing our clients and industries.
• The Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Technical Architect will be expected to participate in client-facing interactions, to build stronger relationships.
• We are a high-performance workplace; the Technical Consultant advises on industry standards and practices on Microsoft business applications and add-on solutions while working on multiple projects with competing deadlines.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• At least seven years of ERP development experience and four years of experience specifically inMicrosoft Dynamics AX 2012 to D365 in the retail/commerce area.
• Has a proven track record of providing technical consultancy and delivering complex, full life-cycle implementation, upgrade, extensibility,
• performance optimization, integration, data migration, security, and support of D365/AX in a consultancy role
• Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 and AX application stack and server architecture, web services, security, cloud, and infrastructure
• Experience with VisualStudio, X++ programming language, .NET, C#, Application Lifecycle Model (ALM), XML, Azure, AIF,CDX, CRT and MDX
• Strong knowledge of coding standards and methodologies
• Desire to learn and implement Microsoft Azure solutions
• Experience in business intelligence and reporting using Power BI, Power App, Flow, and Common Data Services (CDS)
• Experience in two or more functional areas in Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain (T&L), Manufacturing, Professional Services, Service
• Management, Transportation, Talent, HR/Payroll, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and others
• Current Microsoft Dynamics 365 development and Azure certifications or the ability to obtain after joining within 90 days of employment
• Passion for learning and developing technical and functional skills
• Participating in the initial phase of client projects leading technical workshops and providing design guidance in areas such as extensions/modifications, data conversion, environment provisioning, and application integration.
• Works with the customer and end-users to define technical requirements.
• Leads Technical workshops and design sessions with the Customer and other ISV vendors.
• Ensures that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the clients long-term strategy.
• Fully understands the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments of the applications used by the enterprise.
• Makes sure the proposed gap resolutions fit in the overall architecture and business logic of Dynamics Ax and its modules.
• Aligns the RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion/Data Migration, Extensions) customization requests with each other.
• Performs the technical design for all RICEW components.
• Reviews technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirements traceability.
• Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments until system handover.
