Who You ll Work With The HTTS Dedicated Switching&routing cell team works on complex, challenging issues with some of Ciscos top customers. Youll be part of a team dedicated to solving our customers most important business challenges. And you will do it by delivering intelligent networks and technology and business architectures built on integrated products, services and software platforms. You will provide 2nd/3rd level technical support for Switching&routing technologies. What You ll do Dedicated team of highly skilled professionals whose #1 focus is to help customers deploy and operate their networks effectively while delivering the best possible customer experience. • You will have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills and technical knowledge to tackle product and network problems of moderate-high complexity.
• You will consistently deliver great Customer Experience for Cisco switching&routing products by resolving technical issues over telephone, email and remote sessions (Webex).
• You will work with critical customer accounts and handle escalation requests.
• Youre happy to provide technology/product training and intellectual property material as required.
• You effectively utilize moderate to complex lab setups to recreate and solve problems
• You will submit complete and correct bug reports in areas of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications
• BE or MS CS/EE/EC with 4 to 8 years of Industry Experience
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Self-driven with proven experience in resolving complex technical issues in Enterprise Networks
• Proven ability to work autonomously & independently
• Should have Knowledge on LanSW Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP,VLAN,
• Knowledge of Cisco switching&routing Platforms like Cat 9000 series, Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 300 series, ASR
• Hands-on with packet level troubleshooting such Over-the-air captures, Span captures using tools such as Wireshark etc
• Authoritative knowledge of Network and related technology. In-depth experience configuring and supporting network protocols like IPv4/v6, EIGRP, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, L3VPN, Segment routing, etc.
• Experience in preparing, planning, and designing, implementing and optimizing Routing solutions and a broader understanding of the Enterprise industry.
• Earns the confidence of customers and is able to use the confidence to achieve results. Collaborates with Engineering on complex product and software issues, driving resolution of specific bugs.
• Must have knowledge of Strong knowledge of Cisco Routers like ISR2900/3900/4400, 7200, 7600, ASR 1K,9k, CRS and Switches like Cisco 2900, 3600. 3750,3650, 3850, 4500 & 6500 series.
• Strong knowledge layer 2 technologies like VTP, STP, MST, RSTP+, Trunking, VLANs, Layer 3 Switches, Logical Ether Channels etc.
• Solid Understanding of IOS Features and Services HSRP, NAT, SNMP, SYSLOG, NTP, PTP, DHCP, CDP, TFTP and FTP Management, Netflow etc.
• Traffic management for example queuing, policing, shaping.
• Routing Protocols and features for example OSPF, ISIS, MBGP, IBGP, PBR, BFD
• Multicast protocols for example PIM, IGMP, RP, BSR
Desired Skills Adjacent skills on wireless, security, solutions in depth will help in delivering great customer experience
