Job DescriptionThe RoleA Technical Lead (TL) will typically lead the application development andmaintenance of all Automation systems across multiple enterprise clients. A TL willalso provide strategic technical direction to automate operations (incidentidentification and rectification).Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Lead application development and maintenance of multiple Automation systemsrunning in client production environments. This includes design, estimation anddevelopment of new features (CRs)Understand automation system design, logic and business context. Help with incidenttriage and debugging of complex incidentsIdentify opportunities for innovation and lead the design and development ofshortlisted ideasProvide strategic direction to the team to automate operations, leading to improvedreliability, scalability and lower manual interventionsStakeholder management and ability to independently lead technical discussions withclientsDrive performance analysis and system tuning. Manage automation systemonboarding from a technical perspectiveThe CandidateThe ideal Technical Lead will be a engineer who is passionate about leading andguiding application development and maintenance teams and should be willing tolead a team of talented engineers.Key Requirements and Qualifications:B.E. / B.Tech degree in one of the following departments (i) Computer Science, (ii)Information Sciences, (iii) Electrical Engineering, (iv) Electronics or equivalent5-9 years of strong coding experience in any programming language like Python,Java, C, C++, C#, Go. Prior experience in Python programming is a bonusExposure to large-scale systems and systems architecture, and experience inbuilding and maintaining production systemsUnderstanding of Unix/Linux systems, RDBMS and networking conceptsExperience in popular DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Containers, CI/CDpipelines etc. Prior experience in mentoring and guiding young engineers in the teamBonus Skills:Experience in AWS/Azure environments, and orchestration using KubernetesKnowledge of PKI, SMTP, Web servers Nginx/Apache, Python web-frameworksGood understanding and prior experience of the Agile Scrum process
