• Understanding the Extension Specification as provided by the Consultant.
• Developing high-quality code in accordance with Manhattan framework and standards
• Thorough Unit and Integration testing the code prior to delivery to the Customer.
• Troubleshooting, bug fixing and supporting the application pre and post Go Live.
• Support all the technical aspects involved in implementation of additional functionality.
• Working closely with on-site team on a regular basis.
• Working with MA India team members and organizing, monitoring the work.
• Mentoring and leading the project team
Position Requirements:
• Very strong hands-on experience in CORE JAVA (1.8) and J2EE
  • Object Oriented Analysis, Design
  • Java 8 concepts and implementation
  • Standard J2EE Design Patterns
• Very strong hands-on experience in Spring framework and Spring Boot (and concepts)
  • Spring Core
  • Spring Data, Spring Data Rest
  • Spring MVC
  • Spring Cloud
  • Messaging and other
• Strong hands-on JPA or any other framework
• Strong hands-on Testing frameworks like Junit and Spring Boot test cases. Working with Mocking frameworks would a plus.
• Strong knowledge on REST and its implementation.
• Postman or any other tool knowledge about REST communication
• Should have basic knowledge on EFK (elastic search, fluent/logstash, kibana) stack and troubleshooting issue using Kibana.
• Should have basic knowledge on Cloud Native applications
• Strong Knowledge on Microservices application implementation
• Hands on experience in messaging frameworks and would have worked on at least one messaging server applications like Rabbit MQ or any other
• Good knowledge on RDBMS and concepts, would have worked with at least one of the databases like Oracle, MySql or other
• Good to have knowledge on Time series DB like Prometheus and Jasper reporting
• Hands on experience on Versioning tools like Git, HQ, SVN, Clear Case or any other
• Very good knowledge on CI and CD. Hands on would be a plus
• Very good knowledge on Docker. Hands on would be a plus
• Very good knowledge on Java debugging and performance tuning.
