Job Description

Job Role & Responsibility:

• Produce well-researched content for publication online
• Create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers.
• Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site
• Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs and white papers.
• Must be able to create original written content ( write from scratch ), particularly blogs and news stories.
• Actively manage and promote our blog, and pitch articles to relevant third- party platforms
• Edit content produced by other members of the team
• Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed

Skills:

• Proven content writing or copywriting experience, with experience in all types of social media.
• Excellent writing and editing skills as evidenced by a portfolio of published articles.
• The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google
• Docs and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience using WordPress, Weebly etc.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred skills:

• Working knowledge of content management systems.
• Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions in American English.
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
• Strict adherence to the style guides of the each company and it policies for publication, including the company s brand image, products, and services.
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
