Job Description

    Senior Infrastructure Presales ArchitectureNTT Data Services is seeking a veteran Senior Consultant Infrastructure Architecture to join our IT Consulting Practice. As a key member of the data center transformation team, successful candidates will leverage their background in infrastructure and applications to lead our customers through large complex transformations. Candidates must have strong consulting and deep infrastructure backgrounds with demonstrated experience designing and leading large complex projects. This is a strategic role that requires the candidate to have experience creating road maps, architectures and strategies for Multi-client data center exits. Candidates must demonstrate experience working with Senior management to communicate technical requirements, solutions, and the ability to articulate risks/ problems while also leading diverse global technical teams. Responsibilities:
    • Work with Pre-sales to scope and develop solutions for complex problems
    • Strategic vision, road map and design for multi-client data center exits.
    • Lead global technical teams to successful project outcomes
    • Partner with Program Managers to jointly deliver projects
    • Function as technical lead for project startup through delivery
    • Thought leadership to develop intellectual property
    • Develop collateral to support pre-sales and delivery
    • Mentor junior team members both from a technical capability standpoint as well as help develop their soft skills
    • Develop Technical leads into Technical Architects
    • Help derive what areas the practice should develop training for and continue to branch into to adapt to the ever-changing market
    • Works closely with the Enterprise Architects and System Engineers to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives:
    Required Skills:
    • 10-12 years of IT consulting experience
    • 8-10 years of system administration experience including a strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, Virtualization technologies and discovery tools.
    • Ability to lead teams across multiple projects including best shoring teams
    • 8-10 years of experience - Data Center transformation experience
    • 6-8 years of pre-sales solutioning supporting pre-sales
    • 6-8 years functioning as an Architecture expert, design/implement
    • 8-10 years having C suite conversations and supporting program management teams
    • 8-10 years Defining Technical Solutions and ensuring alignment; Provide technical leadership for the evolving architectural capabilities of the entire solution.
    • Understand and manage stakeholder expectations at a senior and executive level.
    • Develop intellectual property, delivery/pre-sales collateral
    • Maintain technical proficiency by keeping current with the latest technologies, trends, standards, & products. Experience developing lifecycle cost estimates for technical solutions.
    • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and writing skills.
    • Experience working with government clients a plus
    • 6-8 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
      • Storage
      • Data Center Migrations (Windows or Linux)
      • DBA
      • Azure or AWS
