The position is based out of Noida/Bangalore locations.As MS.Net technology track lead the candidate will be responsible for providing hands on technical leadership for a program involving .NET framework and core applications upgrade to .NET ecosystem standards (Migration from .Net framework 4.6.2 to 4.8, Migration from .Net Core 3.1 to .Net 6 etc) and help build a roadmap for a successful upgrade.Job description:
• Provide technical leadership for the .Net upgrade program working as the .Net track lead under the overall technology life-cycle management program for the customer.
• Prepare customer application migration deliverables/milestones schedules and ensure that .Net technical team is able to deliver the same.
• Help identify project deliver risks & escalate in a timely fashion, and seek management help
• Prepare and present detailed weekly / biweekly / monthly management & customer status updates for the .Net migration track progress
• Assist project managers and account managers with the creation of task-level project plans that detail the specific tasks required to deliver a solution
• Work closely with project managers and account managers to ensure that client expectations are met and that the team adheres to project schedules and budgets
• Develop overall technical strategies for the migration project leveraging prior application development and maintenance experience in the .Net technology stack
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis regarding progress, challenges, timelines and end results of client projects
• Provide technical direction to the .Net technical staff working on the technology migration project
• Present technical strategies to clients and gather technical requirements as needed
• Create technical estimations
• Create and update design / functional / migration strategy documents
• Research topics and nuances related to typical .Net framework and core migration project, related technical issues and provide recommendations to solve technical problems and bottlenecks
• Analyze application dependencies, prepare for migration, migrate projects, fix code and then build projects
• Juggle between multiple projects delivery multiple milestones within the .Net upgrade track to ensure we are making progress on all the concurrent milestones
• Perform application code migration review sessions with other developers and suggest improvements or alternate approaches when appropriate
• Identify and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Perform a mix of maintenance and new development as required
• Implement project applications according to specifications
• Help in project resourcing for the .Net upgrade track (interviews, resourcing coordination etc)
Experience and Skills (Mandatory) for the .Net Technology upgrade project: Strong application development and maintenance background on following technologies
• .Net Core, C#, Web API
• Experience in building REST APIs and API Management.
• Database Experience in SQL / Oracle
• CSS, JQuery, Javascript
• Unit Testing tools (nUnit, xUnit etc)
• Understanding of Micro-services architectures.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/SAFe Methodology
Skills (Nice to have):
• Azure DevOps and CICD Pipelines, DevSecOps, GitHub, and configuration management tools.
• Healthcare IT Background.
Qualifications
• Bachelor s degree in computer science.
• 8+ Years of overall systems development experience on .Net full stack
