Purpose The purpose of the above job is to provide end to end R&D engineering support solutions for the NOKIA Small Cells, Flexi Zone, Airscale Indoor Radio & 5G products suite. Description for the role
    • In this role you will be responsible for providing end to end engineering solutions for the Nokia Small Cells, Flexi Zone, Airscale Indoor radio & 5G networks for all commercial customers and trials performing initial triage and debugging.
    • The ideal candidate should possess excellent end to end telecom, 3G, 4G, 5G knowledge and an extensive Telecom development/test/system engineering/Support background.
    • Provide Technical Support for the customer s network in a professional and efficient way to ensure a long-term business relation and satisfaction.
    Key Responsibilities Area
    • Recreate the issues in the lab environment to provide development with the correct analysis to debug the issue
    • Able to prepare test environments, including monitoring equipment to find the root cause of customer issues
    • Provide Level 3 outage support where you will be working against the clock in front of the customer to resolve the outage
    • Attend internal calls with development / test to discuss issues and provide feedback
    • Work with Systems Engineers to understand requirements to address issues and to provide improvements
    • Ensure the technical integrity of the end to end Small Cells / 5G network.
    • Resolve customer trouble tickets within quality guidelines
    Person Specification KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Bachelor s degree in engineering, in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technologies
    • More than 3 years telecommunications experience (2G, GSM, SS7, 3G, UMTS, WCDMA, 4G, LTE, 5G, IoT, NB-IoT, Femto, Small Cells)
    • Preferred experience in Small Cells radio Telecom networks experience
    • Strong development or test or system engineering experience
    • Good Understanding of End to End 3G/LTE / 5G Telecom network & protocol stacks
    • Excellent knowledge of 3GPP specifications & E2E call flows
    • Strong KPI analysis and debug experience
    • Knowledge on Tools like Wireshark, Cell Traces, TCPDump, Core dump, UE log
    • Knowledge on Linux / Unix OS, scripts, network topology, trend analysis, pattern finding is highly desirable
    • Ability to breakdown a technical issue and explain it clearly to the customer
    • Desired knowledge in data network technologies such as TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, xDSL, WIFI, Telecom
    • Desired Knowledge in IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, LDP and MPLS (RSVP/LDP) protocols
