Job Description

Urgently require Technical Writers & Senior Technical Writers with 3 to 6+ years of relevant experience to work on software-based products. These are full time regular roles with the flexibility of permanent remote working.The candidate(s) must have excellent writing/editing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, experience in planning and developing documents from scratch or updating the existing content, and the ability to work effectively and constructively with all personality types and with global and culturally diverse groups.Role & Responsibility

  • Develop high-quality technical documentation for software products.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a specified software product, and to combine technical expertise with technical communication skills.
  • Research, design, develop, and write technical information online or in print for a variety of audiences and purposes. Produce documentation that complies with documentation plan requirements.
  • Develop and test user scenarios that show how to use the product being documented. Obtain technical information from variety of project owners; convert specific feedback into documentation.
  • Work closely with engineers, SMEs, and other stake holders to ensure that the information in your document is complete and accurate.
  • Conduct a self-review and ensure that the document is free from technical, grammatical, and language errors. Respond to editorial and reviewer feedback.
  • Independent takes responsibility for developing and delivering quality documentation.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • Proactively informs the Project Lead/Manager about the project status, issues or concerns, including issues of scope, schedule, process, and quality.
  • GitHub/Markdown skills would be advantageous.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), Technical Communication, English or Masters Degree (in any stream) with excellent English language skills.Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Excellent communication skills
  2. Exposure to SDLC and processes
  3. Prior experience of documenting software projects or content writing experience
  4. Exposure to software terminologies like SQL, Web server, Database, multi-tiered architecture, APIs, QA, Business Analysis
  5. Exposure to US healthcare will be an advantage
  6. Experience working with American customers will be an advantage
