This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.Role Overview:This role in Global Banking Technology is within SEAT for the position of Technology Lead. Position will be key to strategic programme to drive the solution design for an integrated operating model for full client life-cycle management covering onboarding, financial market regulation, tax regulation, client due diligence, entity client data management, client maintenance, and off-boardingPreferred Candidate Profile:Ideal candidate must have proven credentials of designing end to end solutions in world class engineering teams having have a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience. With a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position. Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions. Relevant industry certifications are an added plus. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required.Core Competencies:Strongly Desired competencies:

  • Formulate Technology strategy, architecture principles and roadmap from business strategy
  • Recommend future technology capabilities and architecture design considering business objectives, technology strategy, trends and regulatory requirements
  • Able to present Business Case and Cost Justification of the development of IT Systems.
  • Good breadth of skills on open systems & technologies
  • Good knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure and emerging technologies
  • Should have designed the software for performance, scalability and other non-functional requirements
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle using Agile/Waterfall models
  • Application performance tuning, application performance analysis and tuning, analysing performance metrics
  • Strong hands on experience on DevOps including GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker and automation test tool like CA LISA, SoapUI.
  • Should have implemented solutions using technologies like Java, JEE, ReactJS, Business Rule Engines, Cloud, one or more of Relation and NoSQL Databases like Postgress, .MongoDB, Cassendra, Elastic
  • Strong experience in open source frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, AOP & JTA Transaction Management and Apache Libraries (Camel/ActiveMQ/Commons)
Preferred competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge on object oriented analysis and design
  • Understanding on source control, versioning, branching etc.
  • Good to have experience in containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in distributed technologies e.g. Kafka, Apache MQ, RabbitMQ etc will be added advantage
  • Experience on Big data technologies and tool sets (Hadoop, Spark etc.)
