We re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all types of test cases and utilising automation test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. What you ll achieve Design and development activities associated with validating software systems and broader solutions. Expertise with Software testing, designs test fixtures for various types of testing and test tools. As a Test Senior Engineer creates validation test suites and procedures for new/existing software products. You will work on test plans, schedules, equipment, and software validating and automation.You will:This role is based in Bangalore but will service and lead efforts all across the globe. This includes but not limited to test automation framework, tools enablement, and test scripting for the functional, system, and user level of testing across Dell Client Software products. • Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts and utilities that support the testing of new and existing Dell Client platforms in Dell/ODM validation facilities world-wide.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain all components of the automation test executive
• Replicate, debug, and provide timely status and resolution of coding issues.
• Design & Develops test cases for new or existing software and solutions products for better tests coverage
• Develops test tools, automation scripts & frameworks for in use testing, Agile In-sprint testing
• Generate the execution and reports the results of product validation on new hardware and SW products
• Follows the Test Engineering Auto Steering Committee guidelines to evaluate new tools and technologies
• Experience with Windows based application testing and automation
• Clearly communicate development status, issues with local and global teams.
• Interface directly with Validation and Engineering Program leads.
Desirable Requirements
• Requires 5+ years of related software testing and automation experience with Bachelor s degree or equivalent in a computer related field (B.E./B.Tech. - CSE/ECE)
• Minimum 3+ year of automation engineering experience
• Good experience with Python, Robot Framework, C#, API s Testing, Micro Services, Appium and Docker, CI/CD , Selenium, Code ver control, etc
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies along with Test & Defect life cycles
• Software test experience at Windows & Web based application along with focus on test automation.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts along with Test/Defect management tools exp
• Proficient on the windows command line (console, PowerShell)
• Good understanding of PC architecture as well as Windows internals
• Strong understanding of test engineering methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Ability to work with rapidly changing priorities
