Job Description

The Travel & Expense Data and Business Intelligence Analyst III will develop new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods. We seek a professional who will analyze external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and provide insights and recommendations to management. This position will provide key data-driven decisions by extracting, analyzing, cleansing, modelling, and reporting data to operationalize insights to drive value. The candidate will be required to demonstrate analytical thinking, problem solving and quantitative skills along with strong business aptitude and interpersonal skills.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes
  • Collecting and interpreting data from various sources
  • Analyzing results & reporting the results back to the relevant stakeholders
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets to provide meaningful insights
  • Category support and Spend analysis. Pricing analysis and Identification of possible savings opportunities for category managers.
  • Working alongside Global Travel Team and business to support their business requirements
  • Perform project-based analytics associated with operational efficiencies
  • Prepare transparent standard reports and analyze to support business needs
  • Present business insights to category leadership teams
  • Identify stakeholder reporting needs and determine needs resolved through automated repeatable process.
  • Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks
  • To be the focal point for all travel data related project/activities and take responsibility for ensuring this critical area is positively led across Cargill organizations
  • Identify the most effective ways to build stakeholder understanding of travel program and messages by having deep understanding on the underlying travel data set.
  • Assist on other Strategic Sourcing projects as required
  • Create and distribute market intelligence reports with key competitive analysis, and T&E industry best practices.
  • Engage with research vendors & industry organizations to gain additional insight for category strategies.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
, *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Experience in data models and reporting packages
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and to write comprehensive reports
  • Experience in data models and reporting packages
  • An analytical mind with inclination for problem solving - Strong analytical and assessment skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a lean environment.

  • High level of business acumen to understand terms and conditions of contracts as it pertains to business services and future state needs.
  • Familiarity with travel data
  • Experience with SAP-Concur or other modern expense management system
  • Proven track record establishing a trusted advisor relationship with business partners and customers
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and implement solutions.
  • Possess excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills necessary for team coordination, helping partners
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial or data analysis
  • Fluent in English
