Job Description

    • Global responsibility for the introduction and implementation of ISO 26262
    • Reviews of impact analyses, risk assessments, safety plans, functional and technical safety concepts and safety verifications in terms of an independent review body and depending on the ASIL ( Automotive Safety Integrity Level ) classification in the project schedule, including appropriate preparation.
    • Implementation/moderation of functional safety assessments and functional safety audits with the various partners in the development projects
    • Methodical anchoring of the requirements of ISO 26262 in the development processes
    • Creation / maintenance of training documents and implementation of training courses on functional safety at national and international level
    • Coordination of the global Functional Safety Steering Committee
    • Provision of the basics for carrying out FuSi activities (tools, templates, methods, processes)
    • Operational support for E/E-specific methods to comply with the requirements of ISO 26262 and, if necessary, performance of project safety management tasks
    • Organization and management of working groups/ expert groups
    • Deriving and enforcing any necessary need for action, such as initiating studies to secure/support the functional safety concept
    • Committee work in national and international committees and working groups
