Job Description

    TSM administrator MNC clientExperience: 7 - 14 yrsAPPLYHi,Excellent opportunity for the position of TSM administrator-SME with our MNC client in Bangalore location.Exp: 7-14yrsWork location: BangaloreSkill: Tivoli Storage ManagerShift: 24/7-rotational shiftJD:You will be involved in L4 Level Activities Maintain backup solutions and Manage storage solution. Provide SME level technical support, guidance and direction for products supported.
    • Analyze and resolve or escalated problems.
    • Audit application backup policies and environments to ensure integrity of backup and recovery activities.
    • Participate in the recovery of application environments where required.
    • Ensure integrity of supported environment.
    • Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks.
    • Manage and resolve problems identified by sys admins or monitoring software.
    • Work with change and problem management tools.
    • Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison.
    • Investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve application recoverability.
    • Document and implement changes to technical standards as required.
    • Ensure that customer satisfactory levels are exceeded. Installation and configuration Arc serve / Backup Exec.
    • Sound Knowledge of Storage Libraries.
    • Hands-on experience on configuring tape-drives, scheduling backup jobs/policies.
    • Experience in managing media pools, critical restorations, database management.
    • Knowledge on Disaster-Recovery.
