Job Description

    Key Responsibilities: As a Data Analyst, you will:- Drive category decisioning on selection by generating data-backed insights on the optimal selection (SKUs to stock), portfolio mix, and margin profiles.- Support business decisions on balance between working capital and width of selection by scenario analyses backed by sales data.- Increase pricing intelligence by enabling a move away from blanket prices towards customer and region-specific pricing.- Enable the Category Management function to track success and progress - Identify right metrics/measurement framework to track progress against business goals, forecast and monitor key business metrics.- Establish and enhance reporting standards; simplify and automate reporting (e.g., generate insightful dashboard for stakeholders across category to absorb). What we look for in a candidate: - Strong capabilities in data analytics: Proficiency in SQL & Excel. Knowledge of Python, R, Google data studio preferred.- Problem solving: Ability to solve for businesses problem in ambiguous states and with multiple data streams impacting decision making.- Business intuition: Facility to tie data-backed insights to implications for the business and make corresponding recommendations.- Entrepreneurial: Passion to scale a start-up, spot key opportunities, act fast and grab them. The role requires the individual to learn at a rapid pace and set new standards for self and others.- Collaborative skills: Ability to work closely and coordinate with internal and external teams to create success. Ability to seamlessly navigate relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment. Preferred qualifications and experience: - Education background in engineering / data sciences / statistics / sciences- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience either in FMCG/ OTC / Gx / e-Commerce Pharma domain or in a data-analytics companyThis job opening was posted long time back.
