Job Description

    3-5 years of experience in Design and development projects using UG NX and PLM Team & Individual Contributor. Expertise in CAD tools and modelling, NX is Must. Hands on Experience in performing 3D Modelling and detailing by using UG NX and PLM Hands on experience in developing the concepts/Proof of concept independently. Abilitys to design new parts/assembly and modify the design & assembly independently with minimal support. Must have experience in understanding the Manufacturing & Assembly drawings. Design for manufacturing and cost. Experience in designing of Welded joints and welded structures. Hands on experience in Design of sheet metal parts. Experience in read and understanding of the Engineering Standards(ANSI/ISO) for design of compressors. Hands on Experience in Cost reduction projects, in terms of Weight optimization, reducing part counts, optimize the welds and simplify the Bolted/welded joints etc., Good knowledge of engineering materials (ANSI/ISO/China), experience in selection of materials. Selection of Fasteners needed for assembly. Ability to implement/recommend the joint strength and requirements. Hands on Experience in preparing the projects reports. Knowledge of PDM s like Teamcenter/SAP. Ability to present the design solutions and report to customer/team or key stakeholders. Global work experience/interaction with offsite team is an added advantage. Adhere to methodology guidelines for Design and detailing Strong verbal and written communication in English.Skills & ExperiencePLM, UG NX, Unigraphics,
