We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans and tailored lending. Position Description:Morgan Stanley Global Banking Technology team is looking for a Senior Java developer to join a technologically advanced team focusing on developing and enhancing the Home Loan applications. Candidate must have significant expertise in design and development of core Java applications as well as multi-tiered Java EE-style applications. Candidate should be fluent in related technologies including databases, database interface layers, web protocols and database standards. To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities with proprietary system builds. Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development using Java and related technologies
• Design and development of Java applications as well as multi-tiered Java EE-style applications in the finance technology supporting all lending business lines
• Work as part of a banking Agile Squad / Fleet.

• Candidate must have strong hands on expertise in design and development in UI/UX technologies & know all facts of UX design
• Collaborating with multiple technology teams that are upstream and downstream to the application which includes Data Warehouse, LoanIQ and firm s GL system as well.

• Working in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.
• Work with various teams and stakeholders across geography and time zones

, *Skills Required:

• 9+ years of hands on experience in UI development using Angular (preferably Angular 7+) and related technologies
• UI Development Technologies (Angular, Typescript, RxJS, CSS, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with Redux or any other state-management library
• Experience with UI testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, etc.
• UX designing
• Design Patterns
• Web Services Integeration (REST, SOAP)
• Basic SQL
• Good communication, organizational, and planning skills
• Working knowledge in understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)

Skills Desired:

• UNIX (Experience in any scripting language)
• Java, Spring
• Database interface layers
• Working knowledge of Financial market, mortgage based products & Wealth Management.
• Working knowledge of Mortgage and Credit Functions
• Working experience in working with partners and stakeholders across geography & timezones

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
