Job Description

VP/AVP Risk ManagementKey responsibilities

  • Deliver client projects and support business development across the full range of services we offer as required.
  • Regular risk auditing and gap analysis.
  • Threat and vulnerability assessments
  • Research and analysis of open source data
  • Designing and implementing new security solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance implementation, testing and reporting.
  • Crisis management where required.
  • Project management and project architecture.
  • Review and analysis of delivered projects.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external clients detailing the security issues, making recommendations, and identifying solutions.
  • Designing, delivering, and coordinating customised security trainings
  • Developing the skills and expertise of the team
  • Attend meetings with client senior management
  • Manage project resourcing, budgets, and invoicing
Key skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills, analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to work with a team, knowledge of security processes and guidelines.
  • Good knowledge of security technology and their usage
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and on own initiative.
  • Flexible approach to tasks that may change daily.
  • Analytical ability to break down problems into constituent parts.
  • Proven ability to audit a security environment and provide security and process recommendations.
  • Provide excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend process improvement.
Qualifications
  • A bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent.
  • Security Industry qualifications and memberships like CPP/CFA is desirable.
Relevant experience
  • A total of 12 to 15 years experience of working on security roles for major organisations is desirable.
  • 2-3 years of client facing experience delivering advisory work across a range of sectors and regions
  • Solid understanding of security assessment and management is required.
  • Compliance management is essential.
  • Great project management and communication skills is a requirement.
