Job Description

L1 processes (Linux and Windows base L1 knowledge), with some experience in virtual environment (VMware working knowledge is fine e.g. resource utilization - log-in, add/remove etc.) nApplication support L1 skills Knowledge of AppDynamics, SiteScope Websphere would be good (90% documentation available, so can be trained on these) nManual patch remediation for select Windows and Unix servers nComponent level monitoring (RAM, CPU, disk, NIC, etc.) nServer OS troubleshooting / triage nVirtual server resource adds/changes nVirtual server snapshots nApplication and services monitoring (IIS, JVM, WebSphere, etc.) nFile restores for U.S. Bank employees nEnable/disable SiteScope monitors and investigate SiteScope related errors nPerform weekly maintenance for select applications nPerform quarterly DR tasks for select applications nDenovo certification process nNightly batch processing for int l banking and commercial leasing nPerform Autosys change tasks nIsolate server (and UPS) hardware faults and coordinate vendor dispatches to replace faulty components (i.e. break/fix) As a Senior Administrator, you should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues. Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required. Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager. Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders. Perform RCA for Major Incidents related to his / her tower Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement. Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents, Hardware troubleshooting & Vendor coordination Prepare Weekly and monthly status reports. Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis. Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys. Work on the service improvement programs. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects. Training of new team members. Able to work on Knowledge acquisition and updates to related documents ,
