Job Description

    * Roles - Create Test specifications and Test plan according to the product, customer, quality and legal requirements- Requirement analysis & development of HiL Test specifications based on it- Optimisation of Test specifications - Review of Test specifications of peers- Design and build setups for Test script development based on the product road-map- Execution of the test scripts on the test setup (Eg: HiL) and analyse of the test results- To suggest the suitable mode of testing from different aspects of testing, including functional, smoke, regression & performance testing - Develop tools and concepts to automate product & system testing - Perform Field condition simulations on the test setup Responsibilities - Technical specialist/architect with project management responsibility from project conceptualisation to delivery - Deep understanding of customer s needs and developing trust with the customer - Supervises the day-to-day work of individual contributors and steps in when needed- Sets own work schedule for the project team to meet established objectives- Troubleshooting issues quickly and supporting the team to identify the root cause- Working with outside suppliers and partners- Leading initiatives & events within the organisation (recruitment, team events, knowledge sharing sessions) and making tangible results- Driving Innovation within the team (Product/Process/Business/Paper/Publication/Patents) - Bring in ideas for process/efficiency improvements- Mentoring & Coaching new joiners Technical Skills - Experience in a) requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholdersb) Hardware in Loop (HiL) testing & test automationc) System testingd) Testing techniques like White-box and Black Box testinge) Different aspects of testing like functional, smoke, regression & performance testingf) Test script development using scripting languages (Eg: VB, Java, Perl, Python) g) Documentation of Test results/logging defectsh) Working with standard lab equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power benches, etc. and usage of debuggersi) Model-based development using Matlab/Simulinkj) Working in agile software development life cycles (SDLC)j) Using Project Management tools for planning and trackingk) Being a SCRUM masterl) Working with International teams- Knowledge on a) Protocols : (Eg : CAN/KWP/UDS/Flexray/SPI/I2C)b) Diagnostics/OBD testsc) Functional Safety (ISO26262)d) Automotive components like sensors, actuators, * Education: UG [B.Tech/B.E.] (ECE,EEE), orPG [M.Tech/M.E.] (any specialisation)
