Job Description

PHP Laravel Developer Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our team. As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with the project manager, other developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and provide accurate time estimates.
  • Design and implement database structures and queries, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with external systems or services.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP and Laravel developments, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of applications.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications on web servers.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Solid experience in PHP development, with a focus on Laravel framework.
  • Proficient in object-oriented PHP programming and MVC design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
  • Experience working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience as a PHP Laravel Developer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating your skills and experience.
